What this site is

1FAN publishes sports journalism and commentary. Our takes are opinions. Our facts are sourced, and when we get one wrong we correct it publicly on thecorrections page.

Our content

Articles, images we create, and the 1FAN brand belong to 1FAN. Quote us, link us, share us all day. Don't republish whole articles, scrape the site for content products, or pass our work off as yours.

Third-party content

Team names, league names, and player names belong to their owners. We reference them as journalism. 1FAN is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, team, or governing body. Flags and licensed images are used under their respective licenses.

Acceptable use

Don't attack the site, probe it, overload it, or use it to break the law. Automated access to public pages (like search engine crawling) is fine; abusive scraping is not.

No warranties

The site is provided "as is." We work hard on accuracy but make no guarantees the site will be error-free or always available. Sports opinions here are for reading pleasure and arguments with your friends, not betting advice. Wager at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, 1FAN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes go to the courts of our home state, listed on our About page.
