Privacy Policy

Effective July 2, 2026

Short version: we run a sports site, not a data business. We collect the minimum needed to understand our audience, and we don't sell any of it.

What we collect

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which stories people read, how long they stay, and where visitors come from. This uses cookies and collects device information, approximate location (city level), and pages visited.

Google Signals. If you're signed in to a Google account with Ads Personalization on, Google may share aggregated demographics and interests with our analytics (age ranges, interest categories). We see trends, never individuals. You can turn this off in your Google settings.

Email. If you email us, we keep the email. That's it.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't run accounts, so we have no passwords to lose. We don't collect anything from readers we don't need.

Cookies and your choices

The cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. Decline and the site works exactly the same; we just count you as nobody. Visitors in the EU, UK, and Switzerland are not tracked unless they opt in. You can change your mind anytime by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.

Advertising

We don't run ads today. If that changes, we'll update this policy and the consent banner before the first ad appears, and ad cookies will be off unless you allow them.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months, then deleted automatically.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR in Europe, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data about you. Email[email protected] and we'll handle it. We don't discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes get a note on the site, not a silent edit.
